This site is designed to disseminate information about the Municipal Finance Task Force to the public, and to allow the Municipal Finance Task Force to share information about their efforts via news, documents, links, and discussion forums.

Registering with this Web Site

Visitors may register with this site if they wish to receive periodic e-mail digests of new publicly available information about the Municipal Finance Task Force. No registration is necessary to view any and all public information available through this site. Members of the Municipal Finance Task Force may register with this site to:

All registered members are subject to the terms of use on this page with respect to contributing material to this Web site and participating in online discussion forums.

Contributing Material to this Web Site

Registered members of the website may post new material for viewing or download by other members of the Task Force and by the public.

RTI reserves the right to monitor activity on the website and remove material from the website if it believes the material may be offensive or illegal or violates in any manner the RTI policies governing ethics and acceptable use.

Those uploading documents shall be responsible for verifying permission to distribute the materials in this manner, and shall hold RTI harmless with respect to such uploading. RTI will not be responsible for verifying such permissions.

Participating in Online Project Discussion Forums

Only members of the Municipal Finance Task Force registered with this website may post content on the discussion forums. Public visitors will be able to read the discussion forums but not post any messages.

RTI will monitor the discussion forums, but will not screen new messages before they are posted.

Discussion groups should be used to discuss issues related to this project. RTI encourages the discussion and exchange of ideas and welcomes members of all nationalities, racial and ethnic groups, and religions.

Effective discussion forums require mutual respect and cooperation. RTI will not tolerate expressions of bigotry, hatred, harassment, abuse, or harm to anyone. RTI will not tolerate threatening, defamatory, tasteless or indecorous statements, or sexually explicit material. Passwords, credit card numbers, and other confidential information should not be posted in the discussion area. Do not post links to Web sites containing material that may be offensive to other members.

RTI reserves the right to remove messages we believe may be offensive to other members, may relate to illegal activity, or that promote commercial activity not related to this project. RTI also reserves the right to deny access to any member we believe has posted offensive or illegal messages, who persistently promotes commercial concerns unrelated to this project, or who we believe has become a nuisance to other discussion forum members.
